EMPLOYMENT AND LABOUR LAW

As all relationship can get complicated, so can an employer-employee relationship. Our team is built to provide services from the beginning of such a relationship to enable a smooth journey between parties. We begin by providing advice on drafting the terms and conditions of the employment in respect of both individual. We provide a wide range of service which covers the requisite notices, assisting in the preparation of internal disciplinary
proceedings, assisting and advises on charges of misconduct and poor performance. The team is also committed and provide representation in litigation matters under the Industrial Relation Act 1967 and Employment Act 1955 at the industrial court or labour office.

Our scope of work is not limited to the industrial court and labour office, if the need arises, we undertake applications for judicial review and appeals to the Appellate Court.

Will, Trust, Estate Planning and Probate / Letter of Administration (LA)

Will is a legal document for a person to express their wishes as to how their property or assets to be distributed at death. One will appoint someone who he trusts to be his/her executor to deal with all the debts and distribution of his assets upon his death.
The existence of a will can facilitates a manner in which the estate of a deceased is to be managed and distributed among his/her beneficiaries. The absence of a will might cause household dispute in the event of death of a family member.In the absence of a will one must ensure that all assets of the loved one is distributed in accordance to the law. We provide a wide service from planning your estate to executing the will and in the absence of a will, the application of the letters of administration until the completion of its distribution shall be assisted by us.

Parents are the people who nurtures you from young age until you achieve an age of independence and maturity. Parents do so with unconditional love and patience. However, parenthood is not limited to biological child. We believe that love makes a family. Therefore, it is a gift for the law of adoption to a couple who desires the presence of a child but is yet to be blessed with one.

The law for adoption of children in Malaysia are governed under Adoption Act 1952 (for non-Muslims) or Registration of Adoptions Act 1952 (for Muslims). We are experienced in dealing with adoption cases and we provide services to assist the application for child adoption in court. The importance of seeking legal advice and engaging the right legal counsel will ensure the prospective parents are properly advised and guided throughout the adoption process. It is essential for prospective parents to make application for child adoption in the court to legalized the adopted child as their own and to safeguard the rights of the adopted child until him/her including the prospective parents from the date the court order is obtained and hereinafter.

Accident and Insurance Claims

It is inevitable in a day to day routine that accidents occur due to negligence by oneself or negligence contributed by others. In Malaysia itself, about 2,660 investigated cases of occupational accidents were recorded in 2018 whereas the number of road accidents recorded yearly are about 30,000 cases.

We provide services in facilitating and negotiating claims against tortfeasor(s) and/or insurance companies for recovery of loss incurred and award damages due to injuries or death arises from the accident.
